I had a really fun weekend. Friday, Jennifer and I met up with Meghann and her husband Jason in Branson. We ate dinner at Charlie's Steak, Ribs and Ale and maaaan, was it good. I was a little apprehensive about taking Meghann and Jason there as we talked it up pretty good. I was hoping they would come through for us and prove us right, and Charlie's certainly did. The ribs were falling off the bone good!

After dinner we went to the David Copperfield show. It was definately worth it, even if the tickets were a little on the steep side. I consider myself a bit of an analytical fellow, but some of those trick... er... illusions, I just can't figure out. The best part of the show is the fact that Copperfield is a great entertainer and really knows how to connect with the audience.

Saturday Jennifer and I cleaned house and worked in the yard. We made trip to Westlake Ace Hardware where we gathered up, you guessed it, more plants to plant (yay)! Saturday night I joined the fellas for Jered's bachellor party. All were had by a good time. I got to hang out with some guys I haven't seen a while... Time flies and it's easy to loose track of good friends.

Sunday Jennifer and I mostly lazed around the house. Having most of the housework and yardwork done on Saturday was nice for a change. We did make a trip to Lowes to battle the Japanese Beetle problem we're having. We bought all types of chemicals as well as a trap. We'll be taking no prisoners in this war!

Our effors seem to be paying off, we've harvested green beens twice now and have a large pile of peppers going already. We did a little stir fry and added the green beans, and mmmm mmmm it was good!
